Uganda,
otherwise known as the Pearl of Africa, is the smallest of the three East African
countries, and its tourism potential least developed relative to the others. The
packages we offer for Uganda are distinct from packages for Tanzania and Kenya
- Uganda is primarily for Gorilla or Chimpanzee trekking.
Our Uganda packages
can be done as stand-alone safaris, or they can be done as combination packages
starting with a safari in Tanzania, followed by a side trip to Uganda. Flights
from Dar es Salaam to Entebbe are frequent, allowing you to choose a package with
a duration of your choice, only marginally restricted by frequency of flights. Here
are a few brief sample itineraries to give an idea of what is available: 2

Early morning briefing at the National Park Head Quarters for

Return to Kampala and Sheraton Hotel to overnight. Day

Arrive to Entebbe and transfer to Sheraton Hotel in Kampala. Day

Depart after breakfast to Lake Mburo N.P. Game drive through
the Park, picnic lunch by the lake side and afternoon canoe ride on Lake Mburo.
Overnight Agip Hotel Mbarara.
Day 3: After
a leisurly morning depart towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, with a lunch stop
in Kabale. Overnight Gorilla Rest Camp. Day
4:
Early morning briefing at the National Park Head Quarters for
your day of trekking. Overnight Gorilla Rest Camp. Day
5:
Depart today for Lake Bunyoni. Take a boattrip to Bushara Island
to overnight. Day 6:
Enjoy
either swimming in the lake, birdwatching walking or canoeing around the island. Day

Return to Kampala late afternoon and overnight at Sheraton Hotel. Day

Depart for your onward destination. 8
