Day 1

0730     Depart Dar es Salaam by road. Picnic lunch box along the way.

1330     Arrival at Selous

1600     Afternoon boat safari along the mighty Rufiji River. One can see plenty               of hippos, crocodiles, and the birdlife is prolific.

              Dinner and overnight at Rufiji River Camp.The tented camp is situated               in the North-Eastern part of the Selous Game Reserve on a high bank               over-looking the Rufiji River,and the plain beyond.

Day 2

0800     After breakfast, full-day game drive in Selous Game Reserve, Africa's               largest wildlife sanctuary, with an area of 54.600kms. Selous is bigger               than Denmark and 4 times the size of Serengeti.

              It has the world's largest number of big game-elephant, buffalo, rhino;               It also contains wildebeest, eland, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra, impala,               hippo, leopard and lion. There are about 350 species of birdlife.

              Picnic lunch box enroute.

              Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3

0800     Breakfast at the camp.Morning walking safari. This allows an intimate               impression of the African bush and wildlife, which is unforgetable, and               brings you closest to pristine nature.

1230     Lunch at the lodge.

              After lunch, another boat safari on the mighty Rufiji River.

              Dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 4

AM         Breakfast at the camp.Late morning game drive.

PM         Lunch at the camp.Depart for Dar Es Salaam, arriving by late evening.
